After much soul searching, and back and forths (on my end), Miranda made the very difficult decision: Mulcahy will not be her horse at this time. I have a feeling the Big Guy may end up with her at some point, as it seems so destined to me, but without the proper funding it is just not the right time. Oh - and it sucks - so bad!!!
I want to give him to her in the worst of ways. She is an awesome kid, and it breaks my heart that her dream horse showed up too soon. if this was May 2014, this story would have ended so differently. No matter, Mulcahy is here for the time being, and she will continue to ride him until such time that he is sold. We hope that whoever ends up with him will cherish him as she would have, and has the patience to lovingly deal with his super annoying personality.
And so it is onward and upward for us, and for Mulcahy. Thank you all for your advice, and support. You are all my invisible friends......

It's a bummer but things work out. If he gets sold then I'm sure another great horse will come along for her.
Things will work out, they always do.
I feel for you 'Mom'! The right one at the right time will be there :)
Tough choice but it will all work out. If not him I'm sure another wonderful horse will turn up!
